North Highlands Responds Mutual Aid to Cold Spring

On September 1st at 8:50pm the North Highlands Fire Department was dispatched mutual aid to the Cold Spring Fire Department for a possible structure fire at the Plumbush Inn off Rt.9D.
Cold Spring Chief Chris Tobin confirmed a working fire upon his arrival which sent in mutual aid from multiple Departments from Putnam and Dutchess Counties. The Putnam County Fire Investigation Team requested the assistance of the Westchester Cause an Origin Team with their K9.
The fire was contained to the basement area of this mid 19th century Inn which is a historic part of the village. There was smoke damage throughout the entire building.
All departments were returned to service by apx 2:30am.
