NHFD 2025 Santa's Run Schedule

The North Highlands Engine Co. # 1 is delighted to announce that Santa Claus will be on his big
red sleigh visiting the community on Sunday, Dec. 21, bringing lots of holiday spirit and treats
for the children. Santa will follow the schedules below, staying as close to the times as possible.

We ask you to please be patient, and dress warmly and appropriately. As you read the schedules,
there are roads that will be toured, and areas where there will be dedicated stops. These toured
roads are wide enough, and have low traffic, which allows us the ability to provide a safe area for
Santa and your children to meet. If the weather conditions are particularly bad, please consult
our social media pages for updates or cancellation.

If you live on a high-traffic road (Rt. 9, Rt. 301, etc.), please meet Santa at designated stops
ONLY. These stops were chosen for safety reasons, and allow Santa enough room to get his
overgrown sled off the road. Also, please be very careful with the children near the road, for as
you all know, traffic is very heavy this time of year, and the roads can be slick.

If you have any questions concerning the schedule, or have any special circumstances such as an
ill or disabled person (child or adult) who would like to see Santa and his elves at a specific
place, please call NHFD at 845-265-9595, ext. 11 in advance. Please leave a message if there is
no answer. We will do our best to accommodate everyone.

To one and all, a very happy, healthy and safe Christmas, Hanukah and Holiday from Santa and
the North Highlands Fire Department.

NHFD Santa’s Route 1

12 noon (siren will sound) - Santa’s Big Red Sleigh (truck #1) will depart NHFD headquarters
and proceed to their first stop at the intersection of Rt. 9 and East Mtn. Rd South.

12:10 pm - Santa will then tour Hiram Rd., Joanne Place, Perk ‘n Sons Court, and Perks Blvd., in
that order.

12:30 pm - Santa will then return to East Mtn. Rd South to arrive at Fenichel Rd., touring
through Fenichel to Clove Brook Dr. to end at Cul-de-sac.

12:45 pm - Santa will then proceed back to Oak Ridge, to Hy-Vue Terrace, touring Hy-Vue and
returning to East Mtn. Rd South.

1:00 pm - Santa shall then start the climb up East Mtn. Rd South, stopping at Downey Lane and
again in area of Carlson’s Greenhouse.

1:10 pm - Santa will then continue on East Mtn. Rd South to the intersection with Esselbourne.
All residents of East Mtn. Rd South and North (above Esselbourne), and residents of Esselbourne
are asked to meet at this intersection.

1:30 pm - Santa will proceed north on Route 9 to the intersection of Route 9 and Horton Road.

1:45 pm - Santa will proceed to tour Old Albany Post Road North and Mountain Brook Drive.

2:20 pm - Santa will then stop at the Cold Spring Trailer Park.

2:35 pm - Santa will next tour Lyons Road

NHFD Santa’s Route 2

12 noon (siren will sound) - Santa’s Big Red Sleigh (truck #2) will depart NHFD headquarters
and proceed to their first stop at the Lake Surprise Rd intersection, Residents of Lake Surprise
Road are asked to meet here.

12:10 pm - Santa will then tour Foreman Road.

12:20 pm - Santa will travel north along Fishkill Road, and will turn onto Barrett Pond Road with
a stop at Beale Road.

12:30 pm - Santa will then tour Beale Road to the intersection of Woods Rd.

12:45 pm - Santa will then tour Woods Rd, then the remainder of Beale Rd.

1:00 pm - Santa will continue on Barrett Pond Rd to the Valhalla Highland area for a stop on
Highland Road at the mailboxes.

1:20 pm - From Highland Road, Santa will travel to Hustis Road making a stop at the
intersection of Hustis Road, Beale Road, and Woods Road.

1:35 pm - Santa will then continue touring Hustis Road, travelling on to Knollwood Drive and
then tour Knollwood Drive to the cul-de-sac.

1:45 pm - Santa will proceed south on Route 9 stopping at the parking lot at the intersection of
Jaycox Road. All residents of Jaycox Road are asked to meet Santa in this area.

1:55 pm - Santa will continue further south on Route 9 to the Texas BBQ where all residents of
Lane Gate Road are asked to meet Santa.

2:05 pm - Santa will then return north on Route 9, and enter the Post Road Trailer Park, and tour
the Park grounds.

2:20 pm - Santa will be at Torchia Road and Route 9.
