| As we celebrate our nation's 250th Independence Day, the members of the North Highlands Engine Co #1 would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July.
We would also like to remind you if you're celebrating with fireworks please make safety your top priority and follow these simple rules.
β’ Never allow children to handle or light fireworks.
β’ Keep a bucket of water or a garden hose within reach.
β’ Never relight a firework that doesn't ignite.
β’ Light only one firework at a time and move away quickly.
β’ Keep spectators at a safe distance.
β’ Never use fireworks while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
β’ The safest way to enjoy fireworks is by attending a professional display.
Remember, a few simple precautions can prevent serious injuries and fires. Help us keep our community safe so everyone can enjoy a fun and memorable Independence Day.
